EFT Tapping, often referred to as "tapping," is a technique that involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on negative emotions or challenges. This process helps balance the body’s energy and rewire emotional responses.

EFT Tapping

The core elements of EFT Tapping include:

  • Identifying the issue — Acknowledge the specific emotion, thought, or physical sensation you’d like to address.
  • Crafting a setup statement — A phrase that combines acceptance with the issue, e.g., "Even though I feel [emotion], I deeply and completely accept myself."
  • Tapping on meridian points — While repeating your statement, tap on key points along the body’s energy meridians.

How to do this ritual

Identify what you want to work on, whether it’s stress, fear, pain, or another challenge.

Focus On Your Issue

On a scale of 0-10, gauge how strongly you feel about this issue. This will help track your progress.

Rate the intensity

Craft a setup statement, such as: "Even though I feel anxious about [situation], I deeply and completely accept myself."

Set Your Intention

Using your fingertips, tap 5-7 times on each of the following points while repeating your setup statement:
  • Side of the hand (karate chop point)
  • Eyebrow point
  • Side of the eye
  • Under the eye
  • Under the nose
  • Chin point
  • Collarbone
  • Under the arm
  • Top of the head

After a few rounds of tapping, pause to reassess the intensity of your feeling. Repeat the process until you feel relief.
