How to do this ritual

Set the mood for your cleansing ritual. Light a candle, play calming music, or diffuse your favorite essential oils. Make your bathroom a sanctuary where you can fully immerse yourself in this practice.

Prepare Your Space

Step into the shower and allow the warm water to cascade over you. Take a moment to feel its comforting embrace. As you apply shampoo to your scalp, close your eyes and focus your thoughts on any shame, guilt, or self-critical feelings that you’ve been carrying.

As you scrub your scalp, imagine these feelings being dislodged and rising to the surface. Visualize them as impurities that you are about to wash away.

Begin Your Hair Cleansing

While rinsing the shampoo from your hair, speak this powerful affirmation aloud or in your mind:

“As I cleanse my body, as I cleanse my hair, I cleanse my soul, I cleanse my aura.”
